Many Competitions go straight to Northern Ireland Level. This means
that members from all six counties compete together for a Northern
Ireland Prize.
Stock Judging:
There are three types of Stock Judging: Dairy; Sheep and Beef. Members
have to place two rings of four animals in order of preference, and
junior members have to assess a single animal. Reasons are then given
to a judge of why you placed them in that order. Dairy and sheep are
held together at Greenmount during Easter and the beef judging is
also held at Greenmount in September.
Silage Assessment:
This competition is held in conjunction with the Beef judging and

at the Group debating finals in March.
