Moneyrea
YFC is a subsiduary of the YFCU. It is open to everyone aged 12-25
in the Moneyrea Area. Members come from Ballygowan, Castlereagh, Drumreagh,
Saintfield...
Moneyrea YFC
is an active club which takes part in many competitions, and has won
the best senior club in county down for the past two years running,
and gained third place in the Junior section.
To keep up to
date you can read the Newtownards Chronical where the P.R.O publishes
the latest news in Moneyrea Moments (n the Down Your Way section)
or in the local farming press (including the Farm Week and The Farming
Life.
The YFC is an
organisation run for Young people by Young People, and so the interests
of members are central. YFC is a perfect opportunity to meet other
people from all over the country, and there are also opportunities
to travel as the YFCU has sister organisations in Canada, America,
most of Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
